How
will counselling help? Many people experience problems as they go through life. For example some may need help when faced with a difficult decision or some may have suffered or witnessed a traumatic event and struggle to get it out of their mind. There are no hard and fast rules as to who needs or would benefit from counselling. Realistically, if something is disturbing you and feel that it is preventing you from living your life with satisfaction, it can be worth spending some time thinking about why this may be happening. The issues below are just some of the issues that people may be faced with. Anger control, Anxiety & panic, Behavioural problems, Bereavement, Carers conflicts, Communication skills, Depression, Difficult decisions, Domestic abuse, Eating disorders, Family conflicts, Grief and loss, Low self-esteem, Health anxiety, Relationships, Self harm, Separation and divorce, Stress, Trauma, Victim of crime. Yet, it is important to note that within the counselling environment you will be recognised as a unique individual and treated with respect, kindness and courtesy. |
